Gassers

building a full blown gasser out of my '69 chev C-10, got Speedway stright axle under it (nice kit by the way) and cant make up my mind what steering confegeration to go with. The truck is lightend up a bunch. Anyone built a gasser? I was trying post a pic of the truck, guess I hav'nt figured it out. there is a pic of it in my gallery.

I,ve never built a gasser using a fullsize p/u, but am building a Gasser (like) Anglia,
but I,m using a rack steering unit,, the old chassis had a saganaw steering box, that worked fine,, (GM Vega)
yours would have to be something simular,, whats wrong with using the stock c/10 unit?

I was thinkin' Anglia or Henry J when I started this journry, just could'nt fit in the budget. Or even find one, I build them I dont buy them. As far as cross steer I was hoping to min. the bump steer. Tradtional is what I was hoping to work with, only where I mounted the front hanger is right where the box bolts. I should,ve measerd twice,I plan on driving it daily.
