steering box

yes i heard they wer getting hard to find. i bought this one about 6 years ago on ebay . I was looking at it and the car last nite i may wind up making a cross steer set up . that way it will work better .

I would love to see a C10 Gasser, I don't see a lot of Gasser trucks unless it is a Willys.

s10 steering box mocked up

here is a pic of the s10 steering box mocked up. I made this a cross steer set up , im not a expert at this lol but it looks like it should work out fine and all lincages will be clear of the oil pan . The last piture shows how the rod end lines up to the steering box arm .

Hay Guys, jus got back from bike week in Daytona, INSANE, cant wait to get back to work so I can get some rest. Your getting closer everyday to seeing one MXrider13, when I started this ride, I was serchin for a Willys Coupe only I hav'nt won the Fl. Lottery yet. I've owend this '69 for 30yrs now,its been a show truck, low rider, drag racer, work truck,tow truck-Calf and back home a few times (thats when I was messin with sand cars) I was hopeing to have it ready for the Turky Run at the speedway,thats probly not gonna happen.We'll take the '54 and still have a good time.It'll be ready for the spring car shows tho.Not actuly period piece, but I like how its turning out.

12second6, been talkin around about the S-10 box,looks like you have tie rod in the front of the axle,sure would save aggervation with steering colum around the motor mount and Headers.
