Gassers and Old Fuelers

Here´s a couple of mags I just got introduced to, Gassers
and Vintage Fuelers
The Gasser mag seems to have been around awhile, the Vintage Fueler is brand new.

Yes Gasser Wars magazine has been around quite a while. It is the organ of the Anglia nostalgia gasser club but seems to run as much Willys coverage as Anglia. They also used to put out a killer B&W calendar every year with either Anglia or Willys nostalgia racing photos but haven't done it the past couple of years. I have about a dozen and a half old calendars. We all need to write ti them and demand they start publishing them again.

My favorite such publication though is put out byMid America Willys Club. as opposed to the Gasser Wars magazine which is published by a money making concern, Gasser magazine is put out by brothers Ken and Ernest McIntyre. It is a labor of love I doubt they make a dime. They also attend almost every Hot Rod Reunion @ Famoso in Bakersfield CA (They live in Arizona) and organize the annual Gasser Gathering @ Thompson race way outside Cleveland OH. They built an exact replica of Big John Mazmanian's candy red '42 Willys and drag it around with them. Great guys. Join both clubs, the mags are top quality and worth every penny.
