Aftermarket gauges will need a common feed of 12 volt ignition and ground.
Oil pressure and water temperature will be wired to their respective senders on the engine. The fuel level will be wired to the fuel tank sender. The volt meter will simply read the ignition voltage.
The gauge lighting can be extended from the existing dash lighting.
