Gauges

Hello,

My inquiry is relating to the swap of my electrical gauges for an aftermarket set of mechanical ones I had out of my previous truck. The recipient of the new gauges is a 88 Chevy 1500, 350 TBI with a mild cam and headers. My concern is if I start pulling out sending units for the old gauges, will it in turn effect anything computer wise, or affect anything for that matter?

Thanks Allot

88 did not really have a sophisticated engine control system. It does however adjust injector pulse and dwell relative to engine temp and other environmental factors. I would leave all those connected. On a SBC there are plenty of places to add additional temp, and oil pressure sensors.
