gbody window blues

I have an 86 GN ttop w/ power windows. If I go much over 45 and try to roll up my windows, they get stuck on the outside of the window guide. is there any way to fix this problem? I understand that this is a common problem...surely someone has come up w/ a way to fix it. also, recently I noticed that my window guide peice(and the metal that holds it in place) has begun to sag.....window sits on outside of guide unless I push on window when closing door. Is this as simple as just drilling a hole and screwing it back up? Or, is there a way to eliminate both these problems at the same time?

My ol 81 El Camino did the same dang thing.
The whole door was cracked and was about to split in half.

There is some guides down inside the door you can adjust that may solve the problem, but if door is in bad a shape as the one on my Camino, you will have to replace it.

I love G-bodys, but they are pretty much made out of junk.

The guy that bought my Camino said he wanted one to fix up and drive, but less than two weeks later it was in the auto trader!

It leaked water from all the windows, and I'm sure it had rust I didn't even know about.
