gear down
I have a 97 mustang GT. I am looking for some more kick.I am thinking of installing 3.73 rear gears, from stock would this give noticeable improvement in acceleration? Will this setup be too radical for the highway? 0-60 times? any answers will appreciated.

Check the tag on the rearend. What ratio is it? On my carI got a 3.27 and I was wanting to do to 3.73, but thats to low of rearend for my powerband.If I got a 3.55 then that would be alot better. Really need to gear it to the engines powerband.Steve
