Gear ratio change question

I have a GM 10 bolt positraction differential. I wish to know if I can change the ring and pinion ratio without disturbing the posi part?

No, you have to remove the Carrier to replace the Ring & Pinion.

Other than removing the bolt and center pin to remove the c-clips,no reason to disturb the posi.
