Gear ratio Question

So i counted the ring and pinion on my front axle and got a count of 40 on ring and 13 on pinion which is a 3.07. I then counted the rear which is 43 ring and 14 pinion which is also a 3.07. The axles are in an 84 chevy scottsdale and when i purchased it the guy said he put a reear end from a suburban in it, which is why i wanted to count and make sure the ratios were the same so i dont screw my 4x4 up. My question is that does it matter that both ring and pinion on front and back have differnt counts but still come out to the same ratio, or is it all good? Thanks in advance!

As long as they are both the same ratio ... it does not matter
