gear ratios
alright i know i have alotta questions but please bear with me.i would like to know what gear ratio is good for good off idle toque and to cruise around town,and even possibly go on a small road trip.could you even give me a list of how gear ratios effect the vehicle.and what ratios ?its going into a ford 9'' rearend.thanks.

Ok, so you got a 9 inch Ford...What kinda trans,and do you know the rearend ratio you have now? Tire size as well.Heres a website that should help with RPM-Speed computing. SteveTire size chart
