Screamin' Eagle,

I went from 2.56 to 3.73 gears and it made a big difference in acceleration. The engine runs at 3700 RPM at 70MPH using a TH 350 Trans. carries Precision gears for about $155. According to many sources Precision gears are far better than other brands. Good Luck. Hope this helps.

Also purchased precision gears from Reider for my Mustang. Don't know what trans you have but I went from 3.00 to 3.70 gears with a C4 automatic and am very happy with them. They were extremely helpful on the phone when I ordered the parts. As soon as I told them my application they set me up with everything I needed for a complete overhaul (bearings, shims, etc.). You can see a picture of the overhaul with the fresh set of gears in my hotrodders photo album. I give Reider Racing two thumbs up.
