Post Gen 1 heads

Will these heads, #10110810, fit on my '89 305 block? And do you know if they are worthwile heads?

the heads you mention 10110810, are centerbolt valve cover 350 chevy heads out of some TBI motor with vin code 7. do they fit? yes, should you use them... no. the chambers are larger than on your 305 giveing you lower compression and poorer performance. as this is a hot rod bbs, i take it you are not just into makeing the engine run but also sonewhat interested in performance. my advice is, sell the 10110810 heads and add about 800 of your own dollars and get a complete new 250 hp goodwrench 350, or perhaps a 345 hp HO motor, ??

i have a goodwrench motor and the valve cover bolts are in the center does this meane its a vortec heads? and do i need a spasel intake

Mike Hamm : If you look down an intake port pay attention to the ceiling, if the "pocket" just above the valve has a spiral effect they are vortec heads. Meaning they allow for a "vortec" flow into the chambers.
