GEN V 454 piston question

I'm having a hard time finding piston info on building a GEN V 454. I've been reading different things on weather you can run a mark IV piston in a gen V engine, piston skirts different, something like that. I don't see why it would matter, but that's why I'm asking. I picked up a set of 088 502 heads for the gen V. They have been cut for 2.25/1.88 valves and have been surfaced but only to clean up the head. The stock gen V comp is like 8.75.1 with the stock truck heads, which I know nothing about those specs other then there junk. I need to get the comp ratio up with those heads and for the .595 lift cam I want to run. Any ideas will help! Thanks

I looked at a set of KB207 -25.5 cc domes. They are hyperutectic pistons that should have arround 10.25 compression with my heads according to their web site. I just don't know if they will work in a GEN V 454???

Just about any of the Mark IV pistons will fit a V block. Pistons are basically the same. Skirt design is not a problem. The KB 207 is an excellent street piston..
