Like I said I had the same problem. The truck flexplates came with the large bolt circle for the torque convertor. The 700r4 uses a small bolt pattern. Unless you buy a torque convertor with both bolt patterns(check summit/jegs). That is the part number I used in my combination.
I ended up swapping out the 700r4 for a TH350, but same flexplate. The 700r4 lasted about 5 minutes before I ripped the 2nd band lug off.
It is a 153 tooth flexplate. I matched this flexplate with a 70 nova starter(my car) in order to utilize the bypass/relay circuit of the starter. Advance lists it as a high performance upgrade, but it is not SFI approved. Good Luck.
