I bet that is one beat up piece of iron, wonder if a movie car drives any different then any other car. Or do the folks that buy this kind of thing smell the seats to get their jollies?

Regardless of my opinion of the show or the movie, that is a nice car. The price seems high, but it does have a history and is still a popular car. Whoever buys it would make their money back in time by charging people to have their photo taken next to it or exhibiting it.

You? Confused? I've seen one locally, too. Guy used to drive it to work on sunny days. Window glass wasn't in it, and the muffler was held up by a couple coat hangers.

In a while, Chet.

I'm thinking one of the reasons it's going for so much is that it has a Hemi. I wonder if it's an original Hemi car?

If anybody is interested, a friend and I built a General Lee of our own. It's not a Charger but it's still pretty cool. There are a few pics of it in my project journal...

Built in 97 for John Schneider............It is still just a replica of the real ones from the TV show...............Not worth it in my book.

Holy Uncle Jesse, that's a lot of money. No hemi, 511 crate motor, owned by a celebrity. Maybe Pep is right, sniffing seat charges will make it back for the buyer. Dan
