A General Parts Question.

I have a 1960 ford f100. I'm trying to put brake discs on it but I can't afford a brand new conversion kit. How do I find out which other vehicles used the same parts as my vehicle??? I'm pretty sure that the spindle, axle, and other parts have to be used in more vehicles that just that one year make model, but where???
