general trans question

If you have a 200 trans, and you have 400 horsepower, you will end up with a badly disfigured 200 trans.

A TH350 would be a wise choice for this application.

quick way to tell... take a peek under there and look at the tailshaft housing. If it has a bolt-on housing, its a 350. If its cast as one piece, its a 200.

be aware though

a 350 can actually be a 250

if its a 6" tail anyways

big X across the pan = 250

run away fast

good luck

actually a better way to detect a t-250 is look at the cooler line fittings area. IF there is a stud with a nut on it that protudes from the case.... it is a t-250
