getting level

my 56chevy p/up frame is off slightly. lower on the left by about 3/8th of an inch. which is noticeable on flat ground.I called a frame shop to get advice. he told me with a riveted cross member the frame would flex even if he straightened it. (which he could do for $700.00.)I was wondering if adjustable coil over shocks would help this problem? Thanks...

1st is the ground isnt a good place to check, 700 for frame fixer is too much ,way too much, problem could just be springs ect, measure to see if everything is square to start. see if any damage in the past, take time and look, probly springs is problem
