Getting a new title?
I was wondering if anyone here knows how to get a title for a vehicle in IL if i don't have one. I have an 80's S10 that i wanted to build up but the title is nowhere to be found. Right now its basically a cab and rolling chassis and the title disappeared about 4 owners ago. Ideas?
And do the same rules for obtaining a late model title apply to obtaining a title for old rods? I heard somewhere that getting one for a early vehicle is alot easier than getting one for late models, but that may just be BS. |

For decades now, I keep seeing people mention Broadway Title Co. Somewhere down south. Google it.
I am sure it must be difficult to get titles for late models. Every state seems to have different rules on registering old cars. Some states don't need a title, just a bill of sale and a VIN check by an inspector or police dept. Some states will issue a title to car that came from out of state without a title. Ours won't, here in Ct. |
