getting a new vin sticker

I should have taped around it, but i picked at the edge and it came off easier than i thought so i pulled it but of course it doesn't exactly stick back on. Rookie mistake but what are my options? Its on a 92 bronco...

If the sticker is still intact and readable, why couldn't you use spray adhesive on the back and stick it back on?

That's a great point, never really crossed my mind. There are a few spots where small pays came off but its definitely still readable. Worth a shot though thanks

Before you mess yours up take a good close up photo of it. You can send that photo to Signsolutions at 952-229-5411 and they will make you a new sticker. We use them all the time being the manufacturers of the cars either don't supply those stickers or they take a ridiculously long time to get them to you. Signsolutions gets them to us in days.

I assume you are talking about the sticker on the drivers door?

or are you messing around with the vin tag on the dash?

The sticker on the door is not the "VIN sticker." It is most likely a trim tag. The VIN needs to be permanently affixed to the vehicle. You can probably find that tag re-popped by someone. A VIN tag is a whole different matter. When you start messing with a VIN tag, you can get into a whole lot of problems.

Its not the vin tag, sorry for the misinterpretation, its the sticker in the door jamb and has the vin number on it, it also has the trim codes axle ratios and so on . I'll post a pic tonight

That is what I was referring too with my suggestions for SignSolutions. It's commonly called the VIN sticker because the VIN is on it along with the other info. And in fact on many cars there is ZERO info on it other than the VIN and the Production date.

Yep, GM trucks have the other info as codes in the glove box. Door stickers show tire size, vin and production date along side the GVRW.. But on a Ford of that year, has everything from the axle code to the trim and paint codes to the interior color

Hmm, I'll check tomorrow. I got that number right out of our directory but I could have made a mistake.
