I just came across your thread. Great job. The car looks awsome. I bought a project bucket last year and like you after I got into it I had to change a lot and ended up throwing away the frame and building a new one. The color is almost the same and our daughter is a Marine. This was really close . One question, I have built three of these and have added wood around the top of the body to reinforce it so it wouldn't flex. Do you have any flex issues with that one ?

Thanks..

As far as the flexing goes.. I don't have any... When I reglassed this body in the begaining,,, I also reglassed the insides... Made it much stronger, Before you could push the sides in 1'' or so,, Not now...I didn't want to add no more wood then I needed too..
