Pro48 which shows do you consider the top three? Columbus, Louisville, and the Turkey Run in Daytona?? The wife and I enjoy all of GG's and NSRA shows. We have never been to Columbus or the Fog Follies in Evansville, but we are planning to this year. I realize there are some GG bashers out there, but I really think they do a nice job at their events, and I think we are fortunate to have such an event to get together and share our passion for cars and B.S.. Count me in. I've made it to the last 7. Only thing is they are crunched for room. Last year on Fri. the grounds were pleasently filled. On Sat. it was crowded.

Depends on what your looking for and the local area, but here is my top three.

1) Columbus

2) Louisville

3) Shades of the Past

I'll put the Turkey Run in there if your considering the swap meet. Also we'll be hitting the Frog Follies this year and from what I hear it may replace one of the three.

You know this is a tough decision I enjoy Knoxville. It is such a beautiful setting with the lake and the rolling hills.

Can't forget GG's Charlotte. Love that ride around the track.

Oh ***** I just give up. You can see where I'm heading with this.........

Well I'm planning on it anyway. It's about 600 miles and we'll be heading out Thursday AM and be there Fri and Sat.

Sadly, no Louisville this year.

I will be hanging out watching everyone cruise (I have no pre '72 to take) like I do every year up by the 161 hotel area.

We'll be there Friday & Saturday. We usually park behind the trailers in front of the Bricker building.

Great thread in the street rod world i'd consider GG columbus, Louisville, and detroit, as for major shows really none is better then sema the shear volume alone is pletiful but as for great street rod events this show in columbus and lousivlle is top dog in my book,
I really enjoy the effort that people put into there builds just to unvaile them at these shows says alot about the prestige of these events, and street machine of the year is a huge deal such as the ridler etc should be great, Alot of nice pro touring cars going to be there like Bob johnson cuda, was last year acouple of sweet mustangs aswell as alloways blue and silver mustang and a few others that where at sema.
