I saw this happen accidentally once back in the 70's...

Before DC had the Metro, there were MetroBuses. And there were MetroBus Park-N-Ride lots all over, and they were (for a while) great hangouts at night because they were on private property so the police never did anything and MetroBus didn't seem to care.

Anyway, one night, some dudes in a full size car started to do a donut and somehow, a rear hubcap fell off and got under the tire, enhancing the spin and making sparks too.

lol, that had to be the dorkiest, most gangly little turd I've ever seen driving that car. I don't know what was funnier, seeing a taurus flopping around like a fish out of water or knowing that it was being done by the dumbest kid I've ever seen in his mommy's car, and if she ever found out he'd probably cry.

The best part was at the end when he got all paranoid and took off. lmao
