White toner is basically "white paint". A toner is what your paint supplier puts in a colour mix to give you your shade of colour. If you have a little white paint laying around, add a little to your primer to lighten it up. Just a little though, if you want that ghost effect. Remember, you can always put more in, you can't take any out after you mix it.
