Ghost Flames
Can you please give me some information on painting ghost flames? I am using a silver metallic base coat. Questions I need help with:
1. Do we spray the pearl in the base, or the clear? Which one would reflect better? 2. Do we need to spray all the area's we mask at the same time, even if there on separate parts of the truck?(Front fenders, tailgate, inside bed) If you could please help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

If you have an idea of what you want do a few test panels before you shoot the real deal...
I used straight pearl blue powder in the clear on my truck and the flames disappear in anything other then direct sunlight. I call them Stealth flames and they are cool but if you have a different look in mind work it out before you spray.

Sweet
That's exactly what I had in mind. I only want the flames visible when the sun hits them. Do you think that red pearl will reflect OK on top of the silver metallic base coat? Bye the way, nice truck! When I get mine done I'll have to post some pics.
