Merkur87 I like cubes also.my small block is 434 cubes in the same car.Bill Mitchell offers a 454 low deck mouse and 472 talldeck is available. How many cubes is enough?lol, the power we make now a 350 is big enough...... The small block is easier to work on,not easy. the 434 has the same stroke as a 454=4 inch, just 95 less bore, close enough

gift for wife

I would like to say thanks for the input. I am having all parts looked at by a machine shop. I drive trucks and out of town alot. So trying to get everything lined up is kind of a pain in the butt. I am going to bring the block I bought over there and all parts I think might be good. let them do there thing and if it turns out i can use them I will. If the parts aint worth keeping Ill get rid of them. In some ways I kind of hope they are bad. Then I can go with plan c and just let them build me a stroker. I know a couple of people that had this shop build race motors and they are very happy. I have rebuilt a couple of 225 dauntless motors for my jeep but I never got into performance motors. I know one thing though get rid of friction. again thank you. Now I have to go rebuild a T14 trans. dont offer your kids to use your toys.
