give a shout out to Summit

Most amazing
Tuesday morning my top end kit came from Summit.
The heads weren't compatible with a roller cam.
Summit said they'd swap them out. About 8pm I got an email the heads had been shipped.
Yesterday UPS picked up the other heads &
10:30 this morning I have my 60cc performer RPM heads.
That is unbelievable service. I've been buying motor cycle parts for 40 years and never seen anything like it.
Thank you Summit you have a customer for life.
Pat

And there again is another example of how service can make the difference between companies.

I appreciate the fact that you started a thread to thank Summit...often people only hear about the bad, rarely the good, never the mediocre.

I have ordered from Summit for 4 years now and when they send the shipped email the parts show up in 2 days. Only 1 problem in all my orders with the part I ordered did not have the hardware in it, I called and talked to them and they said no problem and they would get it right out to me. They over nighted it as it was on the porch when I came home from work at lunch the next day. I called them and told them how the salesperson took care of the problem in such a fast and friendlymanner.
for Summit

Have always found Summit to be one of the best companies to deal with. Occasionally I'll place my order by phone just to be able to tell the person on the other end thanks for their service.

More people need to do this. I go out of my way to make my customers happy. If I can't win on price, I have to win on attention to detail, customer service, and service after the sale. 90 percent of the time I never hear back, 7% are installation issues (usually a ring got bumped during shipping and the trans can't go into a gear - its only a problem on the bench; put torque to it and it pops right off) and 3% are "thank you's." It really really makes our day when we get a pat on the back. YES there are service people that don't care, just punch the clock. But those of us that take our job seriously; often get very little recognition.

i also agree..

years ago, i changed the trans in my bucket to an OD 200R. ordered a converter and didn't work.. pulled engine/trans 6 or 8 times in a wkend and finally called them... they sent the wrong one and said to empty it and ship it back and will exchange it with NO problems.. they made it right.. right away..

Summit Racing is THE best in customer service.
in the past 9 years, and quite possibaly close to 100k,
i have 2 orders that i have been unhappy with.
but it was the manufacturers error.
Summit had no problems refunding my order, even one as high as 2,500!
i salute every enployee.
except for the tech that goes by the name Gauge. he's a jerk...lol(ihopethatgetsbacktohim)
