there is an auto glass shop in conneticut that cuts, grinds and modifies auto glass for chopped tops I used to have the address but can't find it now. Does anybody know the address or telephone or even the name of this shop? I think its in manchester but not sure

Are you talking about modifying curved glass or flat glass? I have seen a magazine article about masking off curved glass with rubber tape and using a sand blaster to remove the unwanted glass.
