glass help

I'm about ready to have the glass cut for my '51 Chevy, but wonder if anyone knows a good primer to use for my application. I will be urethaning the glass to the cab, and do not want to use a moulding. What I need to know is if there is a black primer like you see on modern windshields that I can apply to the glass myself that will have a nice, finished edge and will hide the urethane bead as well as hold it in place. I've glued glasses in chopped vehicles before, but always hid the bead with a moulding. This one is a 3100 series chopped five inches, so there ain't a lot of room for mouldings! Any advice would be appreciated.

I did the same thing on my 39. I used the black primer I bought from a glass shop. I needed to be able to hide about 2 " all the way around the glass. It worked great and looks good.
