Glass hood for 46 Chevy Truck?

I'm looking to buy a fiberglass hood for a 46 Chevy truck, preferably one piece. I'm not even sure if anyone manufactures such a thing. Anybody know? Thanks in advance.

I was once told by an owner of a large popular fiberglass parts maker that the reason most places don't do hoods for cars and trucks from the late forties is. They didn't fit or work properly from the factory as produced, which makes it your problem. But if he reproduces this part in glass and it doesn't fit perfectly. It then becomes his problem in the eyes of the consumer. So very few companies will reproduce these hoods.

You may try some of the Chevy or old truck sites, but I can't recall ever seeing a glass copy of one.

I've got a '46 1/2T panel that I'm working on and have been through allot of sites looking for parts but I don't ever recall seeing a fiberglass hood for one. You can check a site called Stovebolt.com and see if anyone there might know of a place that has them. But I will warn you ahead of time DON"T let it beknow your rodding the truck. Those folks are restorers!! and belive very much in pure stock orginial.
Good luck

David
