Glue Gun?

What is the difference between a glue gun and a regular HVLP gun? Can a regular spray gun be used as a glue gun?

The gun that I have been recommending to everyone from Harbor Freight, part # 43760 is a conventional siphon feed spray gun, not an HVLP gun like I thought. It is an external mix gun where the air and glue mix just outside the end of the nozzle. So the answer to your question is yes, a regular spray gun can be used as a glue gun.

It would be better if the nozzle opening is at least 1.8 MM, not lower than that like you'd use for paint or primer.

glue

Just a rule of thumb. Any gun that will spray latex will spray glue.
