Which glue should I use??
Hey guys just bought all new fabric for my camaro (carpeting, headliner etc.) I am going to install it but I am not sure what kind of glue to use. If anyone could please give me a product name and where i can find it I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks, Keith :welcome: |

If you need a good aerosol, try 3M 8088 General Trim Adhesive. It works really good on the glue-in headliners, and just about everything else, too. Just be sure you get things laid out right the first time, as it doesn't like to let go once it sticks. You can get it at Wal-Mart for less than $10 per can.

In aerosol cans, 3- M #08090 Super trim adhesive is also a good choice as is this stuff: http://www.yourautotrim.com/perhittrimad.html

While we are talking glue- has anybody tried Camie 393 Headliner adhesive?. I called the company and was told it was good to 250°. They said it was better than 3M 90.

I am familiar with the Camie name, but have never used any of their products. If the 393 is a contact adhesive good to 250 degrees, it should work fine.
