Glueing foam to fabric
In glueing a soft leather like material to sew foam, I have dimples in my fabric. I used 3M general adhesive, 08088, which I have used before without problems, but it was on cloth fabric. Do I need to use a foam adhesive because of my fabric choice or am I doing something wrong.

When you glue fabric to sew foam, you don't need to get a permanent bond. The glue is only used to hold the fabric to the sew foam to keep it from shifting long enough to sew around the perimeter of the piece. I always recommend using a foam to foam glue instead of contact adhesive (like your 3M 08088) for that reason.
