Just make sure the glue is rated for high temperatures. 3M 08090 (black can) is high temp top and trim adhesive, but 3M 90 (green can) is not high temp, only "high strength". Whatever you do, don't use 3M 74 or 3M 77, they just don't work. This is especially important on the horizontal or overhead applications Shawn was talking about.
