GM 12-bolt rear end
I bought a 12 bolt rear end housing but it did not have the carrier caps i would like to no if caps from another 12 bolt would work? I was told that they would not please help <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

you will have to have the housing line bored, bearing caps are machined to each individual case, i hope you got the housing for free .

no i didnot 200.00 is not free how much will it cost to line bore it? thanks for the reply <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

i'd get my $200.00 back, in this area it will cost $125-150 to line it if you can find a shop that will do it.

Those rearends go for about $60 complete around here.
