GM 26015047 10 bolt rear identification
I have a 1984 Olds Ninety Eight. The previous owner replaced the original rear with a 10 bolt posi rear with the casting numbers 26015047 with "4 H" cast above them. There is also a "175" casting. On the right axle tube there is casted "CFD" The rear measures 56" from left to right. And there is an electric plug (assumed to be some kind of speed sensor).
I am looking to identify this rear (what year & model it came from) so I can identify & replace the axles. Simple as it is to pull them for identification, I prefer to attempt to identify the correct axles (length, spline count etc.) prior so I only have to pull them once. Thanks for any help, Dan

Try Google that Casting #. None of the #s you listed are the Date Code.
