Well, this is the exact thing I have pulled off in my Volvo wagon. '98 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP S/C V6 (FWD) mated to a '96 Camaro T5 trans (RWD). The flywheel/clutch and bell housing bolt right up, just had to install a pilot bearing in the crank and that hole is already there, too! The caveat is the throttle body points right at the fire wall. I built a 3" aluminum tube to turn the TB around. I also cut and re-welded the throttle quadrant so it pulled from the back side.
