gm 525 steering box

hey
i have a 30 ford tudor hiboy. has a small block chevy, 9" rear, 4 wheel disc brakes, air, posie superslide dropped axle, 4 bar front & rear. coilover rear, been on road 8 yrs. lots of fun. i built it in nj. made trip to york nats 7 yrs & macungie pa about the same. retired to sc 4 yrs ago. did charlotte goodguys & do local shows here. if you have seen a blue chopped (3.5") hiboy with apple green wheels it's me. was in street rodder once, editor saw at show did small, rear of mag b&w photo, & small artical.

i have had a little play in the gm 525 steering box. i tightened the adjuster on top ob box twice now. is that alright? do they usually have any play? it was a rebuilt box from tci. 11 yrs old but not that many miles.
thanks
clarence
