Probably, this is what Powermaster say,

"Powermaster Motorsports is the leader in high performance OEM replacement alternators and starters for the automotive industry. We also offer alternator kits that include pulleys, belts and brackets."

So I suppose they keep them original looking.

Yes, they are mostly built from GM cases, just rewound for more amperage, and probably higher quality work than a parts store rebuild.

But are the worth it? I don't think so. Shop around; many reman GM alternators can be had for $35.

You can also buy the parts to rebuild one yourself for about $15 online. That includes both bearings, brushes, and regulator.
