GM carrier identification

Trying to identify a 28 spline carrier for a 10 bolt-7.65 GM differential. Any one know a place or person that can do so? It's a GM carrier with "683-2" casting mark on the case.

GM carrier identification

Is it a posi unit? If so; is clutchless? I'm not knowledgable enough to know by looking at it. Is it a GM part or an Eaton carrier?

You are going to have to post or email some pictures. You can look at my pictures and see if you can match it up with something.
