GM column size question

I want to install a column out of a 89 Trans Am GTA in my ride and i want to know what the dia. is so i can get the column drop. Are all the GM columns the same DIA wise?

Tough one. Not too sure on whether they are all the same or not. You are better off getting the column first anyway then mocking it up to see where you want the column. You may need to know diameter, but also how much of a drop as well.

I have the column out of a 87 Firebird, and it is 2.25" dia.
