GM column switch / universal wiper motor.

I know this have been discussed before, but now I have found a wiring diagram.
Trouble is that this diagram is for a Lucan wiper motor with 4 cables and ground. My universal wiper motor only has 3 cables plus ground.

The wiper motor diagram is what followed my wiper motor. The other diagram is from Pete's Cobra Project page:
http://www.kdomus.com/petek/cobra/nav.htm

Any suggestions on how I adapt these diagrams together?

Assuming all is correct on those two diagrams, I would suggest this:

Hope this helps....

Joe Gs diagram is correct. He changed the feed to the #30 terminal. The fuse in any circuit should be as close to the power source as possible. The less unfused wire the better.

Wiring with a relay means 2 fuses on each circuit then, right?

Should I locate both those fuses in the fuse box under the dash?

Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I'm about to wire mye car now, and have an addition question regarding the diagram:

How do I get an universal washer pump to be operated via the GM Lever?

The column is from a '90 Chevy Astro. Is the washer operated during one of the three wiper wires, too?

The washer pump is not shown above. You might be able to find a wiring diagram or info where to look, here.

I have heard something about violet wire to washer...?

If the washer has its own wire, that'll be simple, of course.

I know it's an old thread, but I will make an update, since I cant get this to work.
Below is a photo of the GM wiper wires.
The column is from a '90 Chevy Astro.
Very grateful for any suggestions...

I have wired it like the drawing of the 3-wire universal wiper motor earlier in the thread.
