GM Hei wiring

just installed hei dist. in 65 nova. If I hooked everything up right I should just have 1 wire from ignition switch to dist. cap that says batt. Is this correct? Thanks, Jumm

Yes, just one switched 12V wire is all you need. But, make sure you have eliminated or bypassed the factory ballast resistor (used on cars with points type distributors), and that the wire from your ignition switch is still supplying 12V while cranking, not just in the on position.
