What year GM autos, trucks vans, suv's cover the LS1 engine?

ls1- camaros, corvettes, firebirds, and I think that's it off the top of my head.

Bogie much appreciated. I am looking for an upgrade for my 57 Chevy and I have heard this is the engine, thanks again.

you heard wrong.

in 1998 it was the engine, 14 years later- not so much.

AP I was speaking more in terms of reliablity, I have a 383 stroker that gives me the gittti-up, I want this one to just travel in. No garage queen or trailer queen, just a daily driver when ever I want to go. What do you think?
