GM P/stering rack for 58 Ford
I have asked before, and searched, and still have no answer...So i will ask again, someone knows this...I want to put a ps rack in my 58 ford, now that the engine bay is clean and ready. Which years center steer GM
 rack is best,?? I want to do this MYSELF, not interested in spending $1600 on a fatman rack, or a wurthit kit, MYSELF....I bought a rack from advice on here and it turned out to be the wrong style, so don't bs me if ya don't know. I appreaciate the help but getting tired of buying the wrong parts....I think i have seen every picture of the swap on googles but no one mentions what year rack is best,...any help?

I doubt there are more than a half dozen '58 Fords with rack conversions in the WORLD. Looks like it's gonna be on you to figure this out. BTW, what is a center steer rack?

I challenge that one... 57-58-59 all in the same group, and there are a lot of em out there... center steer racks do not have the tie rods coming out the ends of the rack, but a fixed brkt in the middle, that varies right/left.
