GM posi

I have a 8.2 10 bolt rear----anyone know if posi # 410409N GM 7 J3 is the right unit for my rear,and if so what gear ratios will it accommodate?

Actually, that comes up as a 2-series 8.5" 10 bolt corporate rear end casting. Check to see if the bolts that hold the ring gear on are 7/16" LH threads.

Yea, that's a 8.5 2 series posi. It won't work in the 8.2 rear end.

Thanks,guys. Thats what I thought from my research,but the thing is on E-bay and the guy insists its an 8.2 . Don't think I will pursue it any longer
