GM rear axle identification, ratio and year.

I have a 10 bolt GM axle in my 31 Model A, would appreciate information on the ratio and year.

Raised letters on the left side of the diff. GM 25, 3725899, K57. On the right side is stamped AB 1114.

Thanking everyone in advance

I corrected a few spelling errors in the thread title to help the members here.

A photo or two will help with the identification on the axle you have
Dont worry how old you are... it is the mileage on your body that adds up.

1958 Chevrolet axle
K57 = casting date of Oct 5th, 1957 for a '58 application. 899 casting number indicates non-posi and the AB is 3.36 gear ratio. 1114 is Build date of Nov 14
