GM Rear End #####

Hey everyone. I have a GM rear end in my 32 Plymouth sedan,,sad but true. I wish it was a 9" ford but that is what it had when this project started. Anyways on the axle tube of the passenger side front there is a number stamped into the tube. The number and letters are 2 FCO 180. I use to know how to find them but I have forgotten. I was told the rear end was out of a Camaro. Can anybody help me with this? No numbers have been ground off.

Thanks John

Good to have answer your question..I have no idea..please post the question in the trans-rear end forum..our experts hang out over there..

There are some threads on the identification of rear ends and such In the knowledge base and you can do a search on this topic..

Hope you get this sorted out..

Actually there is nothing wrong with the GM rear..all it needs to do is work for you..

I have tried most all of it and now do what is known to work..
