GM self-energizing brakes for early Fords

Just finished adapting the big GM (early 70's station wagon / Police) 12"x2" rear drum brake hardware to my early Ford front backing plates that will be going on the Deuce. These brakes use stock 37-48 Ford drums as well. Kept it simple and did not use the self adjusters but even at that adjusting these will only take 5 minutes when necessary anyway. An easy and inexpensive way to wind up with big modern self-energizing drum brakes for those of us building period cars.

The complete explanation of how this was done can be found on my web site under the heading of Project 32.

Very nice. So many builders err in favor of 'the look' and not think so much about safety.

Well done.
