Hello everyone
I have an old GM vacuum can and no vacuum gauge to check its specs. Does anyone know what the 319 breaks out to? I know it will pull 18 degrees but dont know when the unit will start pulling in inches of vacuum.
Thanks in advance

It is an HEI advance, sorry for not stating that. I had a second person believe that it was 319 18 also. I was led to believe that the older GM HEI units had a three digit number and then the total number of degrees the can offered. I will check again tonight to see if it is a B..Just checked and it is 319 18. I am going to find a friend that has a vacuum pump that I can check the specs again. I guess initial oull and then how much vacuum to pull all the timing in.
Thanks again
Eddy
